FOT Consulting was established in 2008 with the aim to provide professional services in the fields of Transportation Planning, Transportation Engineering, Commercial and Public Transport Management. The principle members and management of the firm have been involved in numerous projects and initiatives in the transportation planning, engineering and related disciplines at all planning levels in different planning environments within South Africa and internationally. The experience and track record extends from providing traditional engineering solutions for improved control of traffic flows in isolated as well as urban and congested areas, new developments, new road infrastructure to multi-disciplinary planning and feasibility investigations of new transport systems and infrastructure at a highly strategic planning level.

Our professional engagement includes assignments and planning initiatives in the rural and urban areas, considering different transport modes and operational characteristics thereof with the objective of providing effective and viable long-term transport system solutions.

Many years of frequent and meaningful engagements with local and regional communities, authorities, organisations and business entities in Southern Africa, Europe, Asia and South America empowered us with adequate expertise and experience to approach new initiatives and projects with relevant communication strategies identifying and involving all role players.
